I discovered while searching for a pattern that... well... there are a lot of ugly teddy bears. Seriously, google "knit teddy bear pattern" (or click the link), and see for yourself. I'll wait.
SEE! Ugly! So, bear after bear, I finally found something that looked decent.
So I attempted this one. I didn't use the yarn that was suggested, instead I found some fuzzy soft yarn at JoAnn's. And I didn't use embroidery thread for the eyes and nose... instead I just used black yarn. Maybe I should have stuck to the pattern a little better?

very cute! how do you have so much time/quick knitting skills to finish projects so quickly? I am quite jealous!
ReplyDeleteWell since I started knitting back in December, I have only taken 3 days off from knitting. It's called addiction, really :)
ReplyDeleteI was also working from home so while sitting at my computer studying, I could knit. The number of competed projects will slowly diminish now that I no longer have that luxury!
