Welcome 2012!

I never make New Year's Resolutions, but I thought it might be fun to set some knitting goals for the year!  Over the past year, I've accomplished quite a bit, and the world of knitting is so vast that I can certainly keep going at the pace I have been!

Let's see here.. year in review..

Things Achieved in 2010:

• Stockinette stitch and Cables (with this scarf)
• Garter stitch (my first project)
• In the round and k2tog decreases (Brendan's Hat)
• Adding yarn (Lily's scarf)

Things Achieved in 2011:

Seaming, m1, kfb (the bears)
• Crochet (For edging only)
• Illusion Knitting (Emily's scarf)
• Picot Edging (Grumpasaurus)
• Fair Isle, DPNs (Coffee sleeve)
• Kitchener (Zissou Hat)
• Button Holes (For my sweater)
• Lace (The "Abby's Lace" Pattern in this throw)
• Knitting Hems (Kitchen Towel)
• Spinning (oooh, so much fun!)

For 2012
To Learn:

• Magic Loop
• Beaded/knitting work
• Entrelac
• Intarsia
• Double Knitting

To make:

• Socks
• Gloves
• DPN Case
• A piece from my own spun yarn
• Crochet an entire piece (not just edging!)
• Slippers (for me and Brendan)
• Christmas Stockings

That list doesn't look too daunting... it's probably all doable.  Here goes nothing! *gulp*
