Oops! I finished some projects, and never blogged about them!
The yarn (which I previously blogged about), was something I picked up before leaving Virginia. It was on a clearance table for 75% off... wow! The color wasn't my favorite, but it was a super soft angora rabbit blend... and did I mention it was 75% off?! I couldn't resist, and bought 4 skeins... with absolutely no project in mind.
I decided to try my hands at making a blanket, but when I sat down to start this project, I realized that I didn't have all the right needles, and that the pattern needed some modifying. So after I finished the Diamond Lace Afghan, I resumed this project and put Microsoft Excel to work in adjusting the pattern. I like how the blanket turned out, and with the natural fiber content, it makes for a warm little throw to keep on the couch and curl up with!
For how soft and small it is, I might use it as a baby blanket when the time comes!
