The bubbles weren't really all that difficult, but the hem was. To knit a hem, you simply fold the bottom of your knitting up to meet your "live" stitches, and then knit the bottom to the top. Took me a couple of tries, and I finally got it by putting safety pins in the bottom stitches. This is why I can't crochet.. I get lost on stitches that aren't attached to the needle. When they're on the needle, they're easy to count out, you don't have to guess what part of the stitch you're on.
This project also took a little bit more yarn than anticipated. I originally bought 2 skeins of Sugar n' Cream Cotton in white, an then an offset color of green. I was thinking this would produce two towels, but instead... I got just one. I also bought some black and pink cotton yarn to match mine and Brendan's kitchen theme, but I have been distracted by other projects since. Maybe during my potential "summer of knitting" I shall catch up on the towel set.
