It's been a while, friends!

Oh, hey there!  So, yeah.  I took a break.  I have a lot of stuff to keep up with.  I still knit, and I even crochet now!  Woo!  I bake occasionally, and I mostly chase a toddler and try to stay on two feet.  It's exhausting.

Speaking of knitting and the toddler, I made a jacket for her that EVERYONE loves.  It was a super easy pattern, too!

The Top-down Baby and Children Cable Yoke Jacket is a wonderful pattern that can grow with your child. It took me a while to complete only because I couldn't focus on the stockinette stitch at the end.

Isn't that gorgeous?

Sadly, this no longer fits the toddler as it was made for 6-12 months.  I used Caron Simply Soft in Heather Gray.  Since I made this, I've had my eye on the Pagoda colorway from the Simply Soft line.  When (if) I ever get the time to make a bigger size, I have the Pagoda in my stash ready for it!
